Abstract:

This article shows that the violation of the adaptive component of achievement motivation in the case of mental pathology is manifested in the setting of unrealistic goals and in the implementation of unproductive instrumental activity aimed at achieving the goal. To study adaptation in persons with mental pathology, the method of diagnosing the socio-psychological adaptation of Rogers-Diamond in the adaptation of AK Osnitsky and the projective method of H. Hekhauzen was used. The article also presents the results of using the program to strengthen the adaptive component of the achievement motivation.
